Responsibilities
We are seeking MRI Technologist 2 to join our CRMC Radiology team. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to provide high-quality imaging services to our patients. With leading-edge digital medical imaging technology, you will be working with highly trained staff and board-certified radiologists. You will be responsible for operating advanced MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images, ensuring patient safety, and upholding MRI safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player, skilled in patient interaction, and passionate about providing excellent care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable with the ability to operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images.
- Advise patients on the procedure, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Enforce MRI safety protocols within MRI Safety Zones, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and staff, addressing imaging needs and providing a positive experience.
- Train and guide MRI students, offering mentorship and sharing expertise.
- Perform routine quality control procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the ongoing advancement of imaging practices.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong understanding of MRI safety standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED:
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent MRI Technology program.
2 years experience as a Magnetic Resonance Technologist.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current BLS certification.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Magnetic Resonance ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
