EXTERN
You’ll prioritize, organize and deliver basic patient care under the direction of an RN Preceptor. You’ll perform only skills that are within scope and signed off in an approved work-study program.
LEARN MOREEXTERN 2
A part-time role designed to prepare you for your first role as a RN with CMC. Along with the patient care duties of an Extern 1, you will start courses in our RN Residency program and can work on free additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NRP (as appropriate).
LEARN MOREPATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN 1 & 2
Work alongside established nurses and under the direction of other clinicians to deliver basic patient care. You’ll perform and assist with aspects of patient care such as bed scale weights, I/O, hygiene, dressing, turning, transfers and ambulation.
