- Eligibility: The giveaway contest is open to participants who meet the following criteria:
- Reside in the state of CA
- Are 18 years or older
- Are interested in accepting an Emergency Department RN position with Community Health System
- Must have a state of CA nursing license that can be verified through the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Are not currently employed by Community Health System or going through the application review and hiring process.
- Entry: Candidates must RSVP for the September 26th event to be eligible to win. If a candidate has RSVP’d for the event but is unable to attend, the candidate must participate in a one-on-one phone call with an ED leader before 5:00pm (PST) on October 3, 2023. When a candidate participates in a leader conversation, they will be given a ticket, which must be turned in at the check-in desk to be entered to win giveaway. Ticket number will be assigned to the candidate’s profile.
- Duration: Contest entries will be accepted from September 6, 2023, through October 3, 2023, at 4:59 pm (PST).
- Prize: The winner will receive a 2-night getaway with a value of $2,000. After the drawing, the winner will be contacted to determine the date and location of the getaway. The winner may choose between 2 locations: Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa (Pismo) or Tenaya Lodge (Yosemite). The prize, as defined in the terms, is non-transferable, and there will be no cash alternatives to it. The getaway locations are pre-determined and the winner may only select their choice from the provided list. The winner agrees to provide a credit card for incidentals during their stay. The valued amount does not include the cost of travel, food, or any other cost accruals during the stay.
- Winner Selection: The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries on Friday, October 6. The winner will be notified by email and phone on Monday, October 9. If the winner does not respond within 1 week (7 calendar days), another winner will be selected.
- Publicity: By participating in the giveaway contest, the winner agrees to allow Community Health System to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation.
- Liability: Community Health System is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to participants or their property related to their participation in the giveaway contest or prize. Participants agree to release and hold harmless Community Health System and their affiliates from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the giveaway contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
- Governing Law: The giveaway contest and these terms and conditions are governed by and construed per the laws of California.
- Modification: Community Health System reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway contest without notice. Community Health System also reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.
By participating in the giveaway contest, participants agree to be governed by these terms and conditions, as defined by Community Health System. No purchase is required to enter the giveaway but the winner may be asked to complete additional forms to collect and use the prize. Giveaway prize may be subject to government taxes.
