From our PACU's, to our Level I Burn Center, to our ICU's, if you're looking to grow your critical care experience, Community is the place to do it! We have opportunities in critical care across three facilities, ensuring that you have access to the opportunities that best suit your career goals.

Our critical care teams are made up of interdisciplinary professionals, who are prepared to care for any patient with top-of-the-line, evidence-based practices. With facilities known as the best in the Central Valley, including the only Level I Trauma Center between Sacramento and Los Angeles, you will see a variety of patients and cases in every critical care specialty.

BURN

As the only ABA Verified Burn Center in the Valley, our 10-bed burn center is the only around-the-clock Level I Burn Center between Sacramento and Los Angeles for adult and pediatric burn survivors. We are active in burn research and evidence-based care, managing complex wounds. As part of our specialized burn team, you will have the unique opportunity to focus on the continuum of care for burn survivors and their family members.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
With some of the busiest Emergency Departments in California, this is the place to be if you're looking for a fast-paced job with a variety of patient cases and diagnoses. In our Emergency Departments, you will work with multi-faceted teams across our health system to ensure continuity of care for your patients.

ICU

We have opportunities ranging from Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU and more! In our ICU's you will see a variety of cases and diagnoses including: sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, ARDS, heart failure, MI, cardiac abnormalities, stroke, and more. Our ICU teams are integral to our high level of patient care.

NICU

As a Registered Nurse in one of our neonatal intensive care units, you will care for babies born at around 23-32 weeks of gestational age or greater, ranging from moderate to high acuity. With a Level II NICU at Clovis Community, and a Level III NICU at Community Regional, you'll be part of specialized teams that promote a compassionate and family-centered environment. This is the perfect opportunity to grow your NICU experience and become a leader in the of care our littlest patients!

PACU

In our PACU's, you will be key to patient experience post-surgery. From continuous assessment to ensuring patient safety, comfort, continuity of care and post-surgical education, you will have the opportunity to serve a large patient population that is ever-changing. System-wide, we perform over 26,000 cases per year, so you will always have room to learn and grow in your career.

COMMUNITY REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
The largest of our three main hospitals and the flagship hospital of the Central Valley. This academic-affiliated, Level I Trauma Center is located on a 58-acre campus in downtown Fresno. Featuring 37 PACU beds, we are home to one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California as well as a comprehensive burn center. Our hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 641 patients.

CLOVIS COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER
Since opening at its current location in 1988, Clovis Community Medical Center has grown from 109 beds to 352 private patient rooms. Voted ‘Best Hospital’ nine years in a row by Valley residents, it is often the first choice for women’s and children’s services, advanced surgeries, and comprehensive care. We've added a $68 million freestanding Cancer Institute and other specialty programs and now perform more than 13,000 surgeries annually.

FRESNO HEART & SURGICAL HOSPITAL
Opened in 2003 as a dedicated cardiovascular surgery hospital, Fresno Heart expanded to include bariatric and general surgery in 2006. With those changes, this 57-bed hospital in north Fresno features 8 PACU beds and has quietly become a worldwide bariatric and metabolic surgery leader.
