LABOR & DELIVERY
With possible high-risk antepartum care, labor support, C-sections, and newborn care; your role leads to safe deliveries for healthy moms and babies. Both Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center have been recognized by the Joint Commission for excellence in perinatal care. These high standards for integrated, patient-centered care are met as a team.

​​​​​​​In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support throughout the women’s service line. Our Clovis L&D unit has 16 beds and Community Regional L&D unit has 22 beds, plus 19 Antepartum High Risk beds. Each unit also has 3 operating rooms. For most deliveries, our patient ratios are 1:2, but for high risk they are 1:1, and for antepartum high risk at Community Regional they are 3:1.
POSTPARTUM
Our Postpartum care teams are the best of the best! Both Community Regional and Clovis Community were two of the first five hospitals in California recognized by the Joint Commission for perinatal care services, also receiving the Superstar Award from the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative.

This means that in your Postpartum role, you will have consistent opportunities to grow and develop in your area of specialty. Our team also includes a Perinatal Care Council, which is made up of RNs who review policies, practices, and standards of care to ensure patient success.
NICU
As a Registered Nurse in one of our neonatal intensive care units, you will care for babies born at around 23-32 weeks of gestational age or greater, ranging from moderate to high acuity.

​​​​​​​With a Level II NICU at Clovis Community, and a Level III NICU at Community Regional, you'll be part of specialized teams that promote a compassionate and family-centered environment. Parents are encouraged to be active partners in their infant's care and provide you the unique opportunity to work closely with them on the continuum of care of their baby. This is the perfect opportunity to grow your NICU experience and become a leader in the of care our littlest patients!

COMMUNITY REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three main hospitals. This academic-affiliated, Level I Trauma Center is located on a 58-acre campus in downtown Fresno. In 2021, Community Regional helped 3,824 families grow. With 22 beds, 19 antepartum high risk beds, and a Level 3 NICU, Community Regional is where we provide specialized care to the most at risk moms and babies.

CLOVIS COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER
Since opening at its current location in 1988, Clovis Community Medical Center has grown from 109 beds to 352 private patient rooms. Voted 'Best Hospital' nine years in a row by Valley residents, its often the first choice for Women's and Children's services, advanced surgeries, and comprehensive care. Clovis Community is known for it's premiere birthing suits, and is the place where 4,452 families grew in 2021. With 16 beds and a specialized NICU, you will have the opportunity to treat a wide variety of patients!
